Sar Kamler is an Armenian-Canadian musician and composer who has dedicated his life to exploring the power of music through the evocative sound of the duduk, a traditional Armenian woodwind instrument. Rooted in the belief that music can bring light into the world, Sar’s work centers around themes of love and connection, using the duduk's soulful, human-like timbre to reach audiences of all backgrounds.Sar's journey from a late musical start to performing across Toronto, reflects his passion and perseverance. His debut solo album, Butterfly, marks a significant milestone in his career, showcasing his evolution from a duduk player to a composer with a distinctive voice. In addition to his solo work, Sar captivates audiences with his Soothing Echoes of Duduk series and his performances with the Ethnosonic band, blending traditional folk music with contemporary sounds.
